My Christmas Day Look 2015

When I ordered this blanket scarf from Knit Pop Shop I knew I had to save it for my Christmas Day look.  I spend the day with family at someone’s home so I like to be more casual and relaxed- but of course still put together.

The style portion of this look featured 2 items from my Fall/Winter Wish List: a blanket scarf and brown boots. This is the first true blanket scarf I own and let me tell you, I loved wearing it!

For makeup, I again chose a new lip color and used favorites for the rest of my face.

Christmas Day Look

I wore my scarf and boots with a long olive green tee (long sleeves and long in the body) and denim jeggings. It fit really well and felt very put together.  I think that is a win!

Checkout Knit Pop Shop on IG for this scarf and many other styles.

The top and jeggings are from Target.

My boots are from Payless, which was a surprise because I hardly ever shop there. But, they were budget friendly and a shade of brown I really like.

Since this look was more casual, I picked neutral colors for my makeup. I used my new NYX High Voltage Lipstick in Flutter Kiss with the NYX lip pencil in Ever.  For eye shadow, I kept it soft with a shimmery brown and filled in my eyebrows to keep a natural look.

I really liked how this look turned out.  Christmas was a great time, again with yummy food and family that had traveled back to the Midwest.

Best of luck as you head back to work and school, I’m feeling the post holiday blues myself.
