Easter is my favorite holiday! The candy, the family get-togethers with food, the pretty spring dresses, church and the (usually) warm weather.  I love all of it! Because of this I usually plan my outfit in advance. A few months ago I saw this beautiful Peasant Blouse by Merona and I immediately thought of Easter.

(It was a very windy day! But I loved the colors of this outfit with all the greenery.)

This top is from Target, so it’s very affordable. But, the best part? You can also find this pattern as a shift dress, a cardigan and a bomber jacket. Something for every style. How fun! I thought it may be a little ridiculous to buy all of those items so I picked this top because I think I’ll get the most use out of it. I can definitely wear this to work or a nice dinner. Plus, I love how it fits me!

The Peasant Blouse would also look nice with jeans. For work, I will pair it will gray pants and gray flats.

Since finding this top I found something else to wear for Easter but I still wanted to share this because it is so great!

This year my parents are hosting our family after Church, so it will be a nice laid back day. Even so, I still like to dress up a little and do my hair and makeup. A comfy outfit is still important because you know we will be eating well! And yes, we still search around the house for our baskets! 🙂

Of course there is a lot to be done before Sunday.  I have a busy salon day and lots of busy bank days before then. I’m looking forward to celebrating my best friend’s son on Saturday. He is turning one year! As you may have seen on Instagram, I’ve spent the last week snacking on Starburst jelly beans and Whopper mini Robbin’s eggs in anticipation of the holiday, so I’m ready for the real deal now.

What will you be wearing for Easter?

What’s your favorite holiday?

I love navy blue and that top is beautiful!! Sadly, I will have to try to find it elsewhere since my morals have me boycotting Target.

I love this outfit. I always wore peasant tops when I was younger and just kind of stopped for some reason. This post makes me think about how much I loved the style!

  5. This is the perfect Easter outfit! Love all the colors in the top! I’d totally wear it with grey pants at work, too! I still don’t know what I’m wearing for Easter – guess I’ll be making a trip to Target! Always need an excuse 😉
