The Perfect Blouse- Spring Wear

The Perfect Blouse- Spring Wear | Caitlin Cosmetologist

With the promise of Spring right around the corner, I was getting excited! And by excited, I mean that I added some fun, new pieces to my wardrobe. I was hoping to find something I could wear for work and I actually found 2 I thought would be perfect! Maurice’s calls these tops The Perfect Blouse and they are pretty accurate with that description.

What caught my attention is the material followed closely by the shape. I find this material to be very versatile. It can be work appropriate or it can be more casual. There’s something about a loose, flowy top especially when it’s warm. Am I right?

For reference, I am wearing a medium. The tops are affordable at only $29 each.

As you may have read, Spring is my favorite season so I am so happy it’s finally here. The past week I could hear birds chirping outside my window while I get ready in the morning which is one of my favorite things about the season.

I hope the temperature rises soon so I can wear these shirts! I think they would look great with dress pants and flats, for work, or jeans and sandals, for nights and weekends.

How would you style The Perfect Blouse?

What pieces will you wear this Spring?

  1. Those tops are super cute! I LOVE Maurices. They have some great stuff. I think you are totally right that they are versatile – are they woven or knit? They look woven to me and I love the fit. Comfortable yet they look sophisticated! I’d totally wear them to work with dress capris and sandals! Or skinny jeans and ankle boots! Looks like I’m taking a trip to Maurice’s soon! Thanks for posting!
