Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas

I’m a big fan of any chance to celebrate, so I’m all for Valentine’s Day. If you’re not into it, see my post from last year, How To Be Single On Valentine’s Day. I have no idea what I’m doing to celebrate yet, but I’m sure my boyfriend and I will think of something soon. Part of me wants to go out for dinner and drinks. But I’ll be okay with staying in and watching a movie, too. We may end up doing both since the actual day is on a Wednesday. I know this much- I’ll dress up a little for work and give my coworkers handmade cards. And probably eat some chocolate!

What’s a holiday without a little glam? Naturally, I’ve had my Valentine’s Day Outfit planned for like 2 weeks now. I usually go for pink or red, maybe a little lace, but I opted for something different this year. The print and the bell sleeves on this top screamed Valentine’s Day. It’s work appropriate with dress pants and can be turned into a date outfit with leggings and booties, which is why I thought it was a great option.  It’s also less than $30!

In the past I went for a light pink nail polish and a brighter lip but I kind of like these deeper colors. I don’t wear this lip gloss as much as my other lippies because it’s so bold but I like it for things like this.

I’ve linked several other Valentine’s Day outfit options all under $50 for whatever you have planned to do.  I tend to go for affordable options when it’s something I may not wear much after a specific event so I wanted to stick with lower price points.
