When I heard Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation was tested in 7 different types of light I was immediately intrigued and wanted to try it.
Why? I’ve had problems in the past with makeup flashback in pictures, something this product claims to eliminate. And currently, the lighting where I work is much different than at home. If it truly does look good in different lighting, this foundation might be a perfect addition to my makeup collection.

When reviewing foundations, I look at these factors- coverage, consistency, longevity (or lasting power), color and scent.
Let’s Take a Look at Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation
Coverage: Definitely builds to full coverage, but I would say with one application it’s more of a medium coverage.
Consistency: My first thought? Wow! This is so thin. It almost felt runny. However, the spatula applicator allowed me to put the product right on my face and blend it with a damp makeup sponge. The foundation blended nicely!
Longevity: This is the most important factor for me because I am oily in my t-zone. Even with primer, setting powder, and setting spray, foundations can break up as the day goes on. I note that this foundation does not claim to be matte, so I didn’t expect it to be. I was curious about how it lasted though since that is a major concern. Photo Focus didn’t last like I was hoping it would which is a bummer because I liked everything else about it.
Color: I recently re-matched myself and discovered that warm tones were better for me. So, I chose a light, warm-toned color for this foundation. I really liked the color!
Scent: I didn’t notice a scent. This isn’t a big factor but strong scents are a turnoff.
Other Information About this Foundation
According to Wet n Wild, this foundation is lightweight and fragrance, oil, paraben, and sulfate-free. It’s a medium to full coverage finish and is available in 20 shades. It’s also vegan and cruelty-free. All for only $5.99!
Yay or Nay? If you are not oily, Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation is a big yay! If you are oily, I think it is still worth a try since everyone’s skin is different.
I really like the way this looked and felt on my skin. The only problem I had was it slipping as the day went on. But, I would have to say that this foundation is very impressive and very affordable. Can you beat that?
